At Token Herbal, our mission is deeply personal. Our journey began in the depths of pain, loss, and redemption—a journey that has shaped the very heart of our company.
One founder, burdened by the weight of a decade-long grief following his father's passing, found himself grappling with debilitating anxiety as he attempted to step into the next chapter of his life and embark on his entrepreneurial journey. Another founder, who had tragically lost both of his parents, struggled to cope with the immense void left in their wake. He turned to substances in an attempt to numb the pain, spiraling into addiction that nearly cost him his life. A third founder, a nurse with a background in Western medicine, experienced a health crisis when his thyroid failed. Dissatisfied with the conventional treatments available, he turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine, exploring herbal remedies and holistic practices.
Those were turning points— wake-up calls that changed everything. Collectively we made a promise. We would embrace the natural healing power of the Earth, turning to herbs and teas to restore body, mind, and spirit. What started as a personal commitment has grown into Token Herbal—a space where nature’s remedies are honored and shared. Every blend we create is inspired by our journey and crafted with care, integrity, and the belief that true wellness comes from within and from the gifts of the Earth. We are more than a tea company.
